A
truly enchanting place is Paro Valley,
which offers Ta Dzong, the National Museum of Bhutan,
Paro Dzong (Fort), Drukyel Dzong, the fortress of the
Drupas, Takstang Lhakhang (Temple),Kyichu Lhakhang,
the oldest temple in Bhutan built in 638AD by Tibetan
King Srongtsen Gampo.
A delightful city of Thimpu
is the capital of Bhutan, which is full of traditional
arts & crafts. A Chorten built in memory of the
third King HM Jigme Dorje Wangchuk, Tashichoe
Dzong, the fortress of auspicious religion,
Changangkha & Simtokha Dzong are still guarding
the valley.
Punakha, the road
passes through the way from Thimpu over the Dochu La
passwhich covers only 3050m of elevation from the sea
level.Wangdi Phodrang, a road arrives at the base of
Wangdi Phodrang Dzong, which is a new
Dechen Resort on a hill.
Gantey Gompa: Is situated
on the road to central Bhutan perched a top a small
hill that rises from the Phobijka Valley floor. The
Monastery is the biggest Nyimgmpa in Bhutan.
Tongsa: Back on the
central road twists up the steep mountainside for 14
km to the Pele La pass (3,300m).
