By Air: The Royal Nepal Airlines (RA) is the national flag carrier of  Nepal with flight to/from Kathmandu. more
By Land: All visitors entering Nepal by land must use no entry points other than (1) Kakarbhitta(2) Birgunj (3) Belhiya, Bhairahawa (4) Nepalgunj (5) Dhangadhi and (6) Mahendranagar on the Nepal-India border and (7) Kodari on the Nepal-China border. more
Visa formalities:
A visa is required to enter Nepal except for Indian Nationals. One can get a visa at the Royal Nepalese Embassy or Consulate or at the entry points as prescribed by Immigration Law upon arrival. Children less than 10 years need not pay any visa fees. Two passport sized photos are mandatory. more

Foreign Exchange
Foreign currencies must be exchanged only through the banks or authorised foreign exchange dealers. Receipts from such transaction are to be obtained and retained. Visitors can also exchange money at the foreign exchange counter at the airport upon arrival. more
