Nepal has more than 61 ethnic groups and 70 spoken languages. Nonetheless, Nepali is national language; and travel-trade people understand and speak English and other foreign languages as well.

Political System Multi-party Democracy with Constitutional Monarchy.
Religion
Though people follow various religions, Hinduism and Buddhism are the main (Lumbini – the birthplace of Lord Buddha – is in Nepal).
Season Nepal has four seasons: (1) Winter: December – February, (2) Spring: March-May, (3) Summer: June – August, (4) Autumn: September – November. Nepal can be visited the whole year round.
Geographical Region
There are three geographical regions in Nepal: (1) Himalayan Region(ranging from 4,877 m – 8,848 m and including 8 of the 14 highest mountains in the world, that exceed an altitude of 8,000 m), (2) MountainRegion (occupying 68% of the total land area and being formed by Mahabharat range that soars up to 4,877 m and the lower Churia range). (3) Terai Region (occupying 17% of the total land of the country).
